I have completed every Metal Gear Solid game, so I was beyond thrilled when Death Stranding was announced, and even though it met with some mixed reviews, it absolutely entranced me. I'm still playing it after 80 hours in! Lacey and I played a show last summer in LA where I opened with a FamilyJules set and she was doing keys for Super MadNES and she killed it so I asked her if she wanted to a video. Since we were both huge fans of Death Stranding, around NAMM we realized BB's Theme would be awesome! She offered to arrange it and do all of the amazing synths and orchestration and it really made for an awesome version of the song. We filmed this at our usual mountain spot and also at Pacific Beach in San Diego which gave it a really cool duality between the two environments from the game.
