I knew once I heard the opening, I had to try it on guitar since it sounded like it'd make for such a fun riff. Unfortunately due to the key (Ab) it made it tough to make sound right since the only place to play that with beef is the 11th fret on a 7-string. I ended up doubling the line with a guitar tuned down but still kept in the range since it really grew on me and this song in the same range of my Fodlan Winds cover just didn't seem right. A big shout out to SixteenInMono (/channel/UCb1gWOLQPCgUl_WY-zSvL7A) who helped me with this mix. I've been struggling with my rhythm guitar tone and drums and we really dialed in some cool stuff with this mix that I'm excited to apply to future stuff. Let me know what you think of the overall sound because it's only gonna get heavier from here! I know a lot of people are wondering if a Fire Emblem album is in the works, and I'll say at this point that nothing is definite. I'm covering these songs mostly because of how much fun I'm having with them and how much positive feedback I've gotten from them. If an album seems like something people want in the future and it seems like something I can make a meaningful thing out of, I'll consider it.
