Not only is it an iconic, catchy, and perfect melody and theme in every way, what makes it great is how NOT busy and heavy it is. I always knew covering this would be tricky and didn't really know how to approach it. I took a lot of influence from CSGuitar89's Luigi's Mansion Medley for this so be sure to check it out! I opted to play around with some other themes, none of which really fit until I found myself accidentally play the castle theme melody over this and it fit all too well! Luckily, that's a song prominent in Mario is Missing so I thought it would fit this cover well. There's also references to two other Luigi's Mansion tracks too! Since the song is a 50 second loop, extending it needed some extra push to make it interesting in this arrangement. I opted to use the 8 string for this now that I have a much clearer rhythm tone again thanks to the help from SixteenInMono. I'm actually using a Thordendal (Meshuggah) amp model in the AxeFX now for everything and it's working really well! I think this cover really shows off what it can do better than the last one!
