Output voltages can be higher or lower than input voltages as we change the winding of the transformer. This videos contains all the steps which are necessary while designing the Push-pull converter. This tutorial is divided into several parts for better understanding. this part of the video contains the description and working of push pull converter, it also contains the step in which we select the core for transformer which is used in this converter. @waterfuel2 years ago Where can i purchase a 12v dc to 28v dc step up converter about 200watt 6amp output, that is isolated with separate transformer contained?

@randompanda51345 years ago By any chance, do you know maybe what happens to the secondary voltage and current if you make an extra output voltage with 2 extra diodes in reverse? example: output voltage is 70v but by placing 2 diodes and an extra filter i also make -70v.
since you don`t have an extra winding i' m confused. Does the current increase 2 times? The voltage? Or can i just assume the single +70v for the calculation of the trafo?
    good video btw!

@elmnaoirfer37512 years ago Hello, does the frequency change, through feedback, or is the pulse width the one that changes with a fixed frequency, to fix the output voltage, to the required voltage, thank you very much. 1

@sovietrepublic386 years ago Except for the turning number of the primary and secondary coils, the pulse width of the input will also effect the voltage, right?

@fernandohood55423 years ago I have a similar circuit and i am wondering if the high voltage spikes on the secondary are normal.
