Re:Zero LN 10 - Continuing Chapter 5 - A Serious Talk With Roswaal -

In this part we see Subaru have a much needed talk with Roswaal. He needed answers on why Roswaal did not have any counter measures against the Witch Cult. Roswaal seemed to just have faith and trust Subaru on handling that matter... But why? Why would he have faith in a powerless insignificant person like Subaru? At the time he only knew Subaru for about 2 months, he must know more than meets the eye. He even trusts Subaru more than Emilia, the person he is backing for the Royal Throne.. Huh? Roswaal is certainly interesting.. Subaru gains the title of Knight, gained by the incredibly feat of taking down the Whale, and subduing the Cult, with the help of others. Does Roswaal actually think he deserves that title with the power he has now? Or is he just buttering up Subaru before they get into the conversation? Who knows.
