How To Record Your Computer Screen There are a ton of options for recording your computer screen. You can use Quicktime on Mac, OBS on Mac or PC with Windows 10, Camtasia, or Screenflow for more functionality. One of the easiest ways to record your computer screen on Mac or PC is using Vimeo.com. Vimeo has a chrome plugin for recording your screen that’s really easy to use. Simply go to Vimeo.com and select screen record from the dropdown menu on the top left. It will prompt you to download a chrome extension. Then give it access and select your camera and microphone. Then simply press record. What’s unique about Vimeo screen recording is the ability to share the video via a simple link and change the privacy settings of the video as well. Once you create a Vimeo account, you can also organize your screen captures into a folder for easy access at a later date. For good quality audio, I recommend an external microphone.
