Push Pull Train Climbs Steep Hill, Short Line Railroads, Top & Tail, Cincinnati Eastern Railroad

Train with locomotive on rear crosses a huge railroad trestle & climbs a steep grade. This Ohio short line railroad is the Cincinnati Eastern Railroad CCET. I filmed the train in Milford, Batavia and Williamsburg, Ohio on the Norfolk Southern Peavine Line. CCET leases 69+ route miles of track from NS. The shot at the trestle was very hard to get. There were no paths to an area by the river where I could get a good video of the trestle. The area was overgrown very badly and it was steep by the river. I stood on a steel frame a few feet in the water to get a shot where the trees didn't block the view. I won't be filming there ever again. Listen to the train as it climbs Summit Rd grade. It sounded pretty cool. The leading locomotive is an EMD MP15DC and the trailing locomotive is a GE B36-7 that came from TTI Railroad out of Paris, Ky. After the train worked at Afton, it continued on to work Cohen Recycling in Macon, Ohio. Part 2 of this video will show the train going through Williamsburg, Mount Orab and Sardinia, Ohio.
