CRAVE - BookTube Review

I could not stop reading this book. I read all 571 pages in 24 hours. I loved it that much. I went into it thinking it was going to be a Twilight retelling, but to me it was more than that. It had its own story. It had action. It had a bunch of things that (while obvi a vampire story can be predictable) I didn’t call. The characters had their own voices. There was sass, and mystery, and an appropriate amount of “Oh come on Grace, how can you not figure this out?!” That was what made it fun to just binge and enjoy. The chapter names and pop culture references also just added into the whole experience that reading this book was. ⭐️SYNOPSIS ⭐️ My whole world changed when I stepped inside the academy. Nothing is right about this place or the other students in it. Here I am, a mere mortal among gods…or monsters. I still can’t decide which of these warring factions I belong to, if I belong at all. I only know the one thing that unites them is their hatred of me. Then there’s Jaxon Vega. A vampire with deadly secrets who hasn’t felt anything for a hundred years. But there’s something about him that calls to me, something broken in him that somehow fits with what’s broken in me. Which could spell death for us all. Because Jaxon walled himself off for a reason.
