Pioneers of Percussion is a recital programme by Joby Burgess that brings together solo works, by the most creative composers of the 20th century Morton Feldman, Toru Takemitsu and Iannis Xenakis, alongside new commissions by Nicole Lizée (Canada), Linda Buckley (Ireland) and Rebecca Dale (UK). This documentary was captured during the premiere of the works by Lizée, Buckley and Dale at Lancaster Arts, UK on 25 February 2016.
