Working out without a training plan is like going on a road trip without a map!! Changing your workout training program will force your body to re-adapt, thereby avoiding the dreaded plateaus. But, you can also combine isometric and isotonic exercise to further challenge your muscles and to grow more calorie-burning muscle mass. Isometric exercise can create more muscle time under tension if you understand the affect of leverage. Watch this whole video to get a better understanding on why "moment arm" leverage is important.
