Remembering to Love All of Ourselves

Over the past week, many women have shared with me how they feel stuck in overwhelming thoughts and then they’ll ruminate (cycle) on them, and it’ll expand to greater fears. And in this place, they feel alone. I know what this place is like. I’ve been there, we all have. The key is to know how to shift out of it, and the answer is not what we’ve been taught or what we may think. In thousands of hours of healing and holistic education, I discovered the key to a calm mind is to love every part of us. Not to ignore it, or push it away, but to understand it. I won’t say that this is easy. It is a learned behavior. It takes energy, effort and healing. Yet, what I will say is I know what it’s like to have freedom of the mind and how liberating, how freeing, and how beautiful it is. I love to be by myself to sit in meditation, prayer or reflection or healing. A free calm mind is available to us all - maybe not all the time but it’s available to us all and you do this by loving and excepting every part of your self even, especially the negative ones. For me, I turn to my Soul, Spirit, God, Nature, and if needed one of my many healers. Many times loving ourselves looks like asking for help. If you're struggling find someone to talk with. #selflove #greatestsecret #thesecret #healing #healingjourney #spirituality
