@Arrowdodger2 years ago I love that Okayu, even with the two talking about how Korone got frustrated and behaved immaturely, still points out Korone being mature enough to make amends and accept fault. It's nice that she wants Korone to give herself some credit, too.
Also, I always forget how much better the OkaKoro cover of that Da Pump song is than the original.

@1003JustinLaw2 years ago I’m just imagining Korone wrapped up in a big blanket sushi roll with a massive anime tear on her face while letting out a defeated sniff.
Like that scene from Lucky Star.

@FratterKnox2 years ago Watching these two talk and reminisce about their lives together makes me happy. I was lucky enough to have a close friendship like theirs with my best friend until he unexpectedly passed away 3 years 7 months ago. I’m thankful that Korone & Okayu has allowed us to share in their friendship and bond via Hololive. I know personally it’s helped me gets through sad days and helped me cherish the 20+ years we had growing up together even more. ... 11

I'm glad Korone's family is just as blunt as her too. It helps when they tell her how it is, even if I appreciate Okayu thinking she should have been more supportive. ...

@ClownActual2 years ago Seeking forgiveness for something you believe was in the right takes a different kind if strength not many are capable of. Also realizing that you were wrong and apologized still is a full display of how strong of a character you are. Strive to be like Koro-san folks. ...

  • @
@Mernom2 years ago It's not that having arguments is a sign of a good relationship. It's that you CAN have arguments, and stay close afterwards.
Actually having (or not having) arguments is down to the chemistry of the particular relationship.
For example, the main cast of Konosuba. They argue all the time, yet are still best buds.

@jaytea30852 years ago small editing suggestion. the color-coded subtitles work really well, but when someone is quoting someone else like this it would be good if the quotation marks were the color of the actual speaker. so like here okayu is quoting korone, so you could have brown text surrounded by purple quotation marks.
of course, you already put a ton of work into these videos, and it really shows! keep up the great work!

@KikonSketches2 years ago this is going to sound stupid i know but,
i feel like when it comes to seeing things objectively and being mature, japanese people seem to be pretty well grounded at handling situations like an arguement and who was in the right/wrong.
not really describing this well at all, but if felt like i was in the right, went home tolf family and they said i was at fault "depending on the context at least" id probably just be mad, i dont know maybe its just me and im just very immature or petty for my age lol

@doublepinger2 years ago After hearing this story... Korone sounds mildly borderline. A little obsessive / possessive, emotionally over-reactive, engages in physical activity as a form of therapy... glad she talks it out with her family though. When someone like her is left to stew in their thoughts it usually doesn't go well, like when she said she wrapped herself in her futon and tried to focus on sleeping. ...
