@JamesTurnerYT6 months ago I tried a new YouTube feature which lets you setup early access to videos for channel members! This was available for 24 hours for members before going public as usual, it's nice that it's built in to the website now, let me know what your thoughts on that are.
If I were to continue that, it would not change the current regular schedule of videos, just channel members getting them earlier.

@hollylund41466 months ago When I was a little kid playing Sims 2 back in 2006, I would stack columns as high as possible, build a rectangle with no windows on top, and then delete the columns so I had a giant floating house in Strangetown. Glad to see the style is finally catching on 😂 ... 882

@raven_stag6 months ago "We are going blue suburban on this! Oh wait that's taken, that's copyrighted" made me LOL lilsimsie catching strays😂amazing build, inspired me to play the sims again! 334
  • @
@basilolivialee6 months ago the reason why the black columns are so hidden is because the human eye tends to ignore black, hence why some people paint fences black so you can better see though them. 504

@AKA_Studios6 months ago You could definitely get the piano upstairs by using a crane and getting it through those big glass doors. That’s probably how many of the building materials could have been brought up 187

@louise_44446 months ago the NanoCan Touchless Trash Can has a lid, and if you alt place it inside a counter, just the top shows and looks a bit like a chopping board / pretend inbuilt bin. It's still useable and bonus pays $10 per household sim for trash! ... 114

@raaaaaaine6 months ago Basement tool tip is a game changer!! Thanks James :) 175

@Astral_tha_God6 months ago It’s no secret that James is a really, really, really good builder. I just like seeing him do things outside of his usual comfort zone. A lot of his builds are modern style with neutral colors, and they’re great, but I like seeing him use different styles and colors like in this build sooooooo much more ... 16

@shaunduplooy34806 months ago This should definitely be a Max Powers house ! 89
  • @
@Frenchaboo6 months ago Ah yes, my favorite genre of James, building bizarre modern tree houses on this particular lot in Windenburg. Love it. Just like the good ol' days 😆 46
  • @
@xomicsox6 months ago This looks like that one episode of The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes. They featured a house that blends in to the forest trees. The interior’s yellow, it has an awful lot of stairs. 63

@codynorris64146 months ago Wait you had to fully start over when the game crashed?? Good on you man, i would have given up 😩 Amazing build! 86
  • @
@cecethedawg37116 months ago "a real house could never have this many plants" James has clearly never been on the plant side of youtube lmao 6
  • @
@twix36526 months ago This is such an amazing build! I've kinda had an artist block in sims, but you've definetly inspired me to get back in to it😍😍 90
  • @
@therussianprincess70366 months ago “If you had so many plants here in real life it would be so annoying” sweats and looks over to the 10 plant pots by my bedroom window 7
  • @
@shaewasyliw53686 months ago I’m interested to know how long it takes sims to go down the stairs to go to work or school 😂 I love it James. It’s such a fun build 30
  • @
@debradavis39356 months ago This is very cool! I really like it, but I think the bouncing camera would drive me crazy in gameplay. Very creative James, and I really like the way you decorated the interior too! 🧡🧡 63
  • @
@HtotheMK16 months ago I didn't know that about the basement tool. Great tip. Thanks! 14
  • @
@GreenApplePomme6 months ago James: 'if you had this many plants, it would be so annoying'
Me: looks over at my 20 plants and all my propagated babies...
As a plant lover...there can never be too many plants!

@adrianmaxwell58576 months ago I love the way this looks! I’d actually play with it if not for the camera issue 😂
Also, can you imagine moving into this house? It’d be a nightmare 😂😂

@Moonixm6 months ago I was wondering if using the city living elevators would be a better solution for this build, saves time of adding foundations and stuff to get up there and could look a nice inside the house too. But great work you have there james! ... 11

@cordeliaistheonelast month Wow, this is one of my favourite builds ever; the use of light and space is genius and so beautiful; the kids' bedroom with the colours and desk is so smart; the use of colour in the living room and dining room contrasting and complementing the outside landscape with the dark living room for TV viewing and bright skylight for entertaining, it's all so good! I hadn't been keeping up with this channel and most Sims videos in a while and this really reminds me why I love the game, build videos and especially James' eye for design. ... 1
  • @
@tallywally1626 months ago This is one of your greatest recent builds. I like how the kids' bedroom turned out 3
  • @
@Wtchking6 months ago This has got to be one of my favorite builds of yours ever. I love it 7
  • @
@astrumperemor6 months ago i remember in sims 2 i downloaded a cc 'rug' that looked like clouds and i built little floating houses with clouds underneath them, good times 5

@SomeoneBeginingWithI6 months ago thanks for the tip about using the basement tool to build downwards even above ground level, I didn't know that! 3
  • @
@marieduran62866 months ago If your sim teleports they can get up there. If your sim was a spellcaster or has that meditation trait you get from wellness. 8

@Kaccoline6 months ago This video reminds me of James a few years back that never stopped building and pouring out creative builds constantly. Absolutely LOVE this video and the build! 11
  • @
@Victoria_KB6 months ago I loved this, what an amazing idea! The house turned out so cool as well, I never realised how good the views from that lot are. 11

@classic_joke6 months ago This is such an interesting and unique build. Love the concept and even more the way it turned out! 7
  • @
@KatherineP476 months ago This house is beautiful! Really elevated the lot even more. The missing wallpaper going unnoticed in the second bedroom killed me a little 😂 2
  • @
@ceeofsims6 months ago Loving the idea of early access! Just finished the video and this was such a great build. Love your creativity!!! 13
  • @
@cozygaming346 months ago Love this house! it would be cool to play like some sorta rich villan in this house. Also cudos to james for the comitment of rebuilding the house after the game crash. Somthing of this size definitely would be exhausting to rebuild. ... 4
  • @
@how_arya6 months ago This build is starting to look like an Imperial base on Endor… James’ Roman Empire is Batuu. 2
  • @
@casey543216 months ago This house is such a cool concept and it actually turned out gorgeous! 3
  • @
@loraelstad89416 months ago I love everything about this build. The blue really added to the aesthetic, for me. Love the space and brightness of the interior, while having plenty of exterior areas, private & communal. I don’t usually go much for modern style, but I loved the juxtaposition of the stark angled exterior with the warmth and cozy interior. Only thing I might add is a monkey bars down near the swings for the kiddos. Superb build. So glad you were inspired by Bearded Architect’s, as it also looked interesting. ... 1

@kfish63476 months ago there's not many building tips that are new to me as i build in the sims so often, but the basement tool is a new one, so thank you! 1

@opallise26056 months ago Thanks for sharing the thing about the basement tool. I'm going to use that all the time now. 2

@jenplaysgames6 months ago This build is like you took one of your old builds from sims 3 into the future and furnished them in the sims 4. So cool and give me so much nostalgia! Would love to see you recreate one of those builds from back in the day in the sims 4!
    Awesome video James 😎

@Jilatannies6 months ago This is such a cool build, I really like the decorating too, now I just wish I could live there IRL 1
  • @
@arxeha6 months ago architecturally speaking, putting the house exactly above the tree beats the concept of preserving the tree as it is better to design your house around the tree instead. but aesthetic wise i love it so much 2
  • @
@mond56016 months ago Wow I love this! Turned out so beautiful

  • @
@the_nikster16 months ago this build came out so well! like, I'm legitimately impressed with how great it looks and I kinda wish I could go visit it IRL. what would make this build even better is if we could have elevators because there ain't no way I'm walking up all those stairs every day ... 3
  • @
@cre8iveflare6 months ago That springs thing (the outdoor hot tub thing) would look amazing under the house.
  • @
@xoxjanjounxox6 months ago I love watching james build. So much talent for modern houses!
  • @
@user-xj8xm4eh4g6 months ago I cracked up at James saying that many plants wasn’t realistic. My girlfriend has definitely had that many or more plants. 2
  • @
@fateme81036 months ago The kitchen and dining area just stole my heart. I think that's my dream kitchen with that view hell yeah ❤❤
  • @
@Cheshiregrinn916 months ago I think as far as grand pianos go this is actually a really easy house to get it in since you have truly massive windows on the balcony and they'd have used a crane for any second floor movement anyway.
  • @
@Kenosaurus6 months ago When you first did the stairs I was like instantly in love with them!
  • @
@maplenpancakes6 months ago Wow, that was THE build! I love this one a lot, James! 👏👏👏

  • @
@Sytrylt6 months ago I believe the term you were looking for when talking about the building being in concrete was "brutalist" ;)
Now the video, I loved it and I love the build ! The way you furnished it and decorated is beautiful and almost minimalistic wich suits the build so much. ...

@cherryblond35476 months ago That lot in Windenburg is instinctively the one for tree houses. Everyone has built one in that lit 😂 1
  • @
@kanashiirobotto6 months ago oooh love how this turned out, so sleek yet cozy?!
I think if I ever download it to play in, I will add the trash chute to the stairwell pillar on the top level though so the sims don't have to walk all the way down to empty the kitchen bin! ...

@irishqa.6 months ago James you build the best buildings. This one is my top favorite! Though I wish you did the double couch situation next to each other in the living room where one couch faces the windows and the other TV.

@LenaDieters116 months ago James can build as many as he wants and he really thinks it helps the people out, so he is never gonna stop, placing all the sims 4 plants, it's gonna be a great time in his build.
