MUMBAI TO GOA BUS JOURNEY BY KANADE VOLVO B11R SLEEPER BUS | GAGANBAWDA GHAT | FOGGY ROADS

#mumbaitogoa #kanadevolvo #ash2travel Watch my bus journey from Mumbai to Goa by Kanade Travels' Volvo B11R AC Sleeper bus. This was a long awaited bus journey and I choose the bus as per what my subscribers had requested. Goa & Mangalore are two of my favourite bus routes and this time I have done quite a few trips to via alternate bus routes which Ill be uploading soon as well. So this was a 7:30 pm bus from Chunabhatti (Sion) and is scheduled to reach Panjim (Goa) by 10 am. The bus fare was Rs.1500 which was a bit reasonable considering the Christmas & New Year season. There are only 4 Volvos operating on this route i.e. Kadamba, Shri Sai, Kanade, Atmaram Volvo B9R. I have travelled with Kanade Travels before. I did Mumbai to Goa by theri BharatBenz bus and Mumbai to Hyderabad by the same Volvo B11R bus. The total distance between Mumbai to Goa is approximately 600 kms. It can take from 13 - 14 hours. The road condition at Gaganbawda Ghat is very bad and Volvos especially have to drive very slowly due to to low ground clearance. We lost quite some time there as we were crawling down the Gaganbawda ghat. The road was very foggy from Kolahpur onwards. In some cases the road was just not visible. The bus was speed locked at 85 kmph. The bus route is Mumbai - Pune - Kolhapur - Gaganbawda - Kankavali - Goa.
