I was really happy when i saw this thinking that it's the farmer's friend - the beneficial lady bird......unfortunately it's not that lady bird( it apears similar to lady bird with polka dots but the flappy legs are same as that of pest tortoise beetles but their transperent wings and color changing property is lacking in this bug) even though it's the family of lady bird it harm our plant leaves, some will attack stem too!!!! ufff even though it looks sooooo cute with its brown luminous shade with polka dots we should get ride of this dangerous bug😄. Feeding damage is most prevalent from skeletonization where beetles feed on the parenchyma of the leaves from the underside, leaving the upper epidermis intact. This gives the leaf a lacy appearance.
