Hanoi to Moscow Sheremet | Vietnam Airlines VN63 | A350-900

VN63 Hanoi - Moscow (SVO) In this trip report, I'm going to review my flying experience with Vietnam Airlines A350-900 from Hanoi (HAN) to Moscow (SVO). A350-900 is the new generation of Vietnam Airline's wide body aircraft. This modern aircraft is usually used for trans-continental, North East Asia and domestic routes. I'm very excited about this trip because it's my first time onboard Vietnam Airlines A350-900. However, some little tiny nightmare started at the boarding gate. About one to two hours prior to boarding, many passengers at the gate started putting their luggage and hand carries in lines (to reserve their queue) and blocking walkway. Ground staff told them nicely that the gate is not open yet , but it fall on deaf ears. Boarding process begins with Business Class, Elite members and etc. Many passengers try to cut queue. When staff found out that they were in the wrong line or not their time to board the aircraft yet, they argued with the staff. During boarding the aircraft, the lady behind me was in haste. Her luggage bumped against me so many times. She wants to get on to the plane as soon as possible, I assume. I tried to stay calm though she mumbled something in her own language angrily. Upon boarding, a mini bag of amenity kit is placed along with a blanket and pillow on your seat. Menu card is given and refreshing cool towel is served. Female crew working at my aisle were so friendly and attentive. One thing if I wish to see improvement is setting up a mini snack bar at the galley with water and juice for passengers to take during the mid flight or crew walking around with water every 30 minutes. It would be convenient for those sitting in the middle or window seats if they don't with to press the call button or disturb passengers who are sleeping.
