Gulas unguresc cu carne de vita | Hungarian Beef Goulash

Ingredients : 1kg Diced Potatoes 1kg Of Beef Meat 1 Long Red Pepper 3 Chopped Onions 2 Chopped Carrots 2tbsp Sweet Paprika 100g Tomato Passata 1tsp Caraway 1tsp Thyme 3-4 Bay Leaves 1 Knorr Chicken Stok Cube 3-4 Minced Garlic Cloves 1/2tsp Chilli Flakes 1tbsp Sugar 4-5tbsp Cooking Oil Salt Black Pepper ============ Flour Dumplings : 1Egg 2tbsp White Flour Salt ============= Add oil to a frying pan, add caraway and fry for a minute. Then add the meat and fry till slightly brown. Add onion, salt and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. Add carrot , fresh long red pepper and minced garlic ,thyme, chilli flakes, sweet paprika , tomato passata , a table spoon of sugar ( to decrease tomato acidity ). Then add bay leaves, knorr chicken stock cube , and black pepper. Add 500ml of warm water and boil for 30-40 minutes on medium heat. You can also add a cup of warm water every now and then as the sauce reduces ,and the meat needs to be 3/4 cooked through .Then add the potatoes and 500ml of warm water - enough to cover the potatoes. Make the flour dumplings and add then into the pan. Season with salt and pepper if needed and boil for a further 30-40 minutes until the potatoes are fully cooked .
