Lynn's Cranky Bus

I live in Chicago and regularly take the bus wherever I want or need to go. Over time, I have come to know various bus drivers. Of them all, I am most attracted to Lynn. A tall, athletic woman in her 30's she is bright and extremely adept at navigating the streets of this urban jungle in her 40 ft diesel. One of the things I noticed early on is she is assigned the same route(s) in the same bus. When I had no set schedule I would favor riding her bus to and from Navy Pier or Adler Planetarium. Knowing her schedule, I would often be the only one on the bus at the start of her route. As months went by, I noticed the bus had become more sluggish. This I could tell because as I sat in the right front seat I noticed her right foot having to press harder and deeper on the accelerator to get the bus to move. Another thing I began to notice: If I arrived before she had started the bus it was getting harder for her to start, requiring several tries with some false starts. As this happened, her frustration was manifested by increasingly vigorous pumping. She would occasionally look back at me while this was occurring and, over time, I'm sure she began to notice my "excitement" over the proceedings. Finally, after much time passed and the two of us had participated in these cold start/stalling episodes, I believe she actually looked forward to them. We had developed a mutual attraction of sorts and I believe this was the way she pleasured. Did she cause the frequent stalls???
