Tim Eads @ Pentimenti Gallery, Philadelphia

A quick walk-through of my exhibition at Pentimenti Gallery in Philadlephia. Rigid geometries and digital designs have been echoing through my work for decades. This new body of two dimensional layouts gains depth and softness through the rug making process. In essence they are paintings reimagined as tufted textiles. These pieces draw on my previous textile work while also playfully echoing the domestic shag-rugged interiors of my past.
