Eli Legg suggested "I also have a very simple flying machine. You'll need a straw, preferably thick like a Mcdonald's straw, scotch tape, and one 3x5 notecard. Cut the notecard into thirds horizontally, so three long strips. Now take two strips and tape each end together to form a circle. Now with the other one, tape the ends also together. You should have a large and small circle. Next, tape the end of the straw on the inside of the small circle. This is the front. Now do the same with the big circle. It should look like this o____0. Now throw the flyer and it will glide. You may have to adjust the circles if it flies to the right or left." In the video I throw it quite gently, but later I found it can take quite a strong launch and fly much further. To find them follow my search guides /watch/wgcHOoOSBecSH or /watch/kRYwkwgU4jZUw or see my playlists page /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap. /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan
