Data suggests the pandemic has slowed the increase in average life expectancy here which according to data compiled last year stands at 83-point-6 years. Statistics Korea says the country's average life expectancy has increased by a mere six months the lowest rise since 2018. Those without cancer have a higher life expectancy of 87.
