Bon Jovi | Legendary Concert at Velódromo de Anoeta | San Sebastián 1989

Very rare, intensely restored material from the band's legendary New Jersey Syndicate tour in 1989! Ironically, I had managed it to track down two sources for this show, but this also is where the good news end. Both recordings were loaded with cuts and largely incomplete. By blending them back and forth, I managed it to restore over 80% of the concert with only the last two songs - Wanted Dead Or Alive (our "magic mystery ride" is intact though) and Bad Medicine - missing. The video footage has barely been seen before and was more staccato like, but intense work including Virtual Dub's "temporal smoother" helped quite a lot here! The show was as high-energy as one would expect from that tour and even featured one or two cuts that weren't on the standard setlists at the time! Great fun besides the obstacles nonetheless! Since both sources were very generated, I spent a lot of time (ok that's an exaggeration, I did the entire project this morning :D) reworking them to regain some quality. You'll definitely notice the difference since one source is quite good in terms of clarity, but needed a lot of work on the lower end while the other was very dull, distant and boomy.
