Brown Butter & Maldon Rice Krispie Treats with a Milk Cooler
1 stick of unsalted butter, plus more to grease
5 ½ cups mini marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies
Maldon (or any) flaky sea salt
Milk to serve
Lightly grease a large baking dish or casserole dish with butter. Place the stick of butter in a large pot and place it over medium heat. Melt the butter and continue toasting it, stirring frequently until it is nutty and browned but not burned. Once the butter is nutty and browned, remove it from heat and add the marshmallows, stirring constantly until they are all melted. Add the Rice Krispies, a little at a time, until it reaches your desired consistency. Season it with a pinch of salt and then transfer them to the greased baking dish.
Eat immediately, forging them in a glass of milk to cool them.
