Published 18 May 2023

Acclaimed author Mary Eberstadt at our May’s Conservative Women’s Network presented an exciting discussion on “How Sex Is Re-Writing Modernity.” She talked about her newest book "Adam and Eve after the Pill, Revisited," providing insight into the legacy of the sexual revolution and the toll it has taken on Western society, specifically three main spheres: culture, politics, and Christianity. Mary Eberstadt is a Senior Research Fellow at the Faith and Reason Institute and holds the Panula Chair at the Catholic Information Center in Washington, D.C. During the Reagan administration, she was speechwriter to Secretary of State. She founded The Kirkpatrick Society in 2011, which mentors hundreds of writers. Some of Mary’s other popular books include "Primal Screams: How the Sexual Revolution Created Identity Politics"; "How the West Really Lost God"; "The Loser Letters", and "Adam and Eve After the Pill." This event was hosted by the Clare Boothe Luce Center for Conservative Women and recorded by CDR Communications for the Clare Boothe Luce Center for Conservative Women on May 12, 2023.
