On the previous video with this car tobortine commented "How powerful is your battery ? HD motors would typically run at 12v and probably produce at least 5200 rpm so I'm wondering if you're battery is a bit under powered ?" so I bought a couple of small 3S LiPo's so we could try it with 11.1 volts. @GuitarRocks3608 years ago Good video. I think the motor should a little bit more torque. There are 3 ways to allow a car to powerslide:
    1. Excess wheelspin. Like as you 2. This means that wherever the car is facing, let' s say to the left, turn the front wheels to the opposite direction to counter act the slide to allow longer drifting.
    3. Handbrakes (kicking the reverse) i know that there' s no reverse on your car. But handbrakes allow the car to immediately lock the rear wheels to allow a powerslide

@burkey1569 years ago Do you think it would be possible to make an edf powered rc plane?

@javierlam37838 years ago Hi! Why can' t this drift car reverse?
wouldn' t the rc receiver automatically be able to receive thesignal from transmitter to reverse the direction of the current going into the dc motor and thus, reversing it' s rotation direction?.
