The arms are a very important part of bodybuilding & for physique athletes. Everyone who goes to the gym these days wants big arms that look good. After a point most people are unable to get a bigger size because they don't understand how they're supposed to train the arms. A well-built arm will have well-developed biceps, triceps & forearms. The trick is to train each of these muscles seperately so that you get an overall look. In this video we are talking about 4 tips that will help you achieve your goal with ease! Tip number 1: The brachialis, Biceps, & Triceps are muscles that recover much faster than the other muscles. This means that one should train arms 2-3 times a week and not give too much recovery time to these muscles. If you wait too long then you might just lose out on some muscles size. Tip number 2: Every time you begin tricep training always start with a heavy tricep exercise that uses a compound movement. This helps in activating more muscles fibres which will give you maximum results once you move onto other tricep exercises. We use compound movements because it saves the the elbows from getting injured. Some examples of these compound movements are: Close grip bench press, handstand push ups, weighted dips, weighted diamond push ups & JM press. Perform 3-4 sets of 3-5 reps of this exercise. 4 sets of 4 reps is the ideal rep range. Tip number 3: A lot of people don't understand the importance of training the biceps in the right order. Always begin with a pronated/neutral grip (this will help save the elbows from injury), then do a heavy curl exercise like barbell curls or EZ bar curls. After this move onto a pumping exercise that will isolate the muscle and give you a good pump after the heavy curls. These exercises include machine exercises like cable curls or dumbbell concentration curls. Once you finish the pumping movement, Do a stretch exercises that gives a full extension and contraction in the biceps. These include exercises such as incline curls & preacher curls. Tip number 4: Always train your wrists and forearms. A good forearm looks very aesthetic. It also supports the elbow and prevents it from getting injured. Bicep & tricep exercises both use flexion and extension of the wrist which puts a lot of load on the muscle & hence you need to strengthen the wrists as well. Exercises such as wrist extensions, wrist curls & dumbbell pinch gripping are perfect for this purpose.
