A delegation led by Latvian Minister of Defense Artis Pabriks visited the National S/UAV R&D and Production Facilities of Baykar Defense , The manufacturer of Bayraktar TB2 Drones . Bayraktar TB2 SIHA, which is actively used by the Turkish Armed Forces, Gendarmerie General Command, General Directorate of Security and the National Intelligence Organization, has been exported to Libya, Qatar, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Poland so far. The TB2, which has flown more than 300,000 hours, has been in active use since 2014. Currently, a total of 160 Bayraktar S/UAV Platforms are operating in the countries To which they are exported together with Turkey. Bayraktar TB2 is also the first aircraft exported in this scale. Along with Poland, the last buyer of Bayraktar TB2s, another country that is preparing to supply Turkish SIHAs is Hungary. A delegation from Hungary will soon arrive in Turkey to inspect the SIHAs.
