  • @
@staryeyedmonk6 months ago Perhaps undervolting the CPU a bit and getting a better spread on the thermal paste could bring the temps down a bit. 78
  • @
@poppawheelie2036 months ago I made my first build years ago watching bros videos. Love the consistency! 🤙🏽 2

@jordanmntungwa33116 months ago Watching this from the PC built using tutorial from this channel is satisfying. When I built my PC I had internet problems. but I had watched so many PC building videos that I was able to do it from memory. Even the power button and Front USBs. most satisfying first try of anything I've done TBH. Booted up first try no issues. I was happy that I got everything right first try but also a bit sad that I didn't have the troubleshooting experience ... 2

@TijmenKXB6 months ago im so glad u became more active on yt, i just saw this and i already noticed i watched you before, I love this idea of such a small pc that's really this strong, might try and build the same pc and put a monitor on my seat for people in the backseat with maybe a wifi if theres a way for that and then this pc. ...
  • @
@slimmyjimmy28486 months ago this is why you're the best pc youtuber. Ive been wanting you to make a build like this for 3 years, in a case that small. I never knew that case existed because I only thought the velkase velka 3 existed in that small of a form factor. This is what im going to spend my hard earned money on. Thanks Joey. ... 18
  • @
@shroomjak2006 months ago Holy crap this would literally be perfect for me. Within the budget I'd spend and its portable enough to go back and forth between home and university 9

@unclem46266 months ago Hot cpu 91c , at only 40-50% utilization, needs optimization. I would look into better thermal past, some under volting for sure and maybe a different case. Not sure if the 520 motherboard supports under-volting, probably not. Maybe even go as low as a straight 5600 to save money and temps if undervolting is not possible. Thanks for the video, very cool. ... 84

  • @
@FilippoCarrux6 months ago I think that with a 5700x you will have the same or maybe better performance because the x3d is an hotter CPU and it needs more cooling capacity. So you are running it at 50% of its potential.
Also if you have 10mm I would have considered to use a 25mm fan for the cooler instead of the stock 15mm one.
In this case undervoling and a fan could make a huge difference. Another option was to go with am5, with a 7600, that is so much cooler than the x3d and you will also have gained ddr5 at 6000mhz that for FPS gaming is a really nice addiction. Nice build 😊

  • @
@edwardwilliams38156 months ago some undervolting/fan-curve adjustment, think that would help your thermal issue, cause 91C is a thermal issue, i'd worry about burning out that proc sooner than later, but i get you wanted to benchmark it out the box possibly...gg nice vid :) ... 3
  • @
@rmsler6 months ago Sheesh! A mini-ITX build and it can run triple A titles?! This build is good, might think of building it!
  • @
@breakingmichigan4 months ago this is sweet! personally if i built the same thing, id go for a Ryzen 5600x just for better thermals, but you proved the 5800x3d works just fine too

  • @
@SgtRock44456 months ago You need to put an undervolt of about 0.020 - 0.030 Volt on you 5800X3D (vCPU). That should fix your throtle issue. I run mine with - 0.0250V 11
  • @
