Learn how to crochet cord (slip stitch cord and a double slip stitch cord) or crochet cord pattern. Both of these crochet cord stitches make a beautiful, strong cord that lies flat. They can be used for embellishments, for lacing, drawstrings, straps, ties, trim or even bracelets. The slip stitch cord is ¼ inch wide. The double slip stitch cord is ½ inch wide. This crochet tutorial skill level would be considered as easy crochet and for the beginner crochet. The only crochet stitches involved are chain and slip stitch.
