SEAFOOD EXTRAVAGANZA in Coastal Patagonia + FIRST IMPRESSIONS of Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina

Today we're taking you for a seafood extravaganza to celebrate being back in coastal Patagonia! This is the vlog of our first day in Comodoro Rivadavia, and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. We kicked off our first morning in town with a walk down to the beach. Because this was our first time back on the coast (after several weeks at the foot of the Andes), we just had to get a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean! For lunch, we went to a restaurant called Cayo Coco del Mar, and of course, we ordered seafood. We got a massive seafood platter featuring calamari, shrimp casserole, breaded fish, mussels, and more. It was a feast of a meal! That afternoon we enjoyed a nice stroll along the boardwalk. We noticed there was a storm brewing and that the skies were getting darker by the minute, so we decided to pick an attraction close to our hotel. That's how we ended up visiting the Museo Ferroportuario, which is a museum that focuses on the link between the port and the railway in this oil town. They also had an impressive display of all the lighthouses you can find in Patagonia. Future road trip?! In the evening we went to a restaurant near our hotel, which worked out well for Sam because there were pizzas on the menu. And when we came back to the hotel, we sat down to share some of our first impressions of Comodoro Rivadavia. That was it for our first day in town.
