In Memory of George Floyd: Fontana City Council Meeting

During the Tuesday, June 9 Council Meeting, Mayor Acquanetta Warren discussed a resounding comment made by a young Fontana resident in regards to demonstrations throughout the world: “We have to change our heart.” Listen to the explanation in the video below. After the invocation, the Fontana City Council held a moment of silence for 8 minutes and 46 seconds in honor of George Floyd. The meeting was also adjourned to those who have lost their lives during the recent unrest across the nation.
