The issue has been acknowledged by Google and the internet search giant is already working on a fix. The issue that is causing this problem is a system component called Android System WebView, which is supposed to enable Android apps to display web content. Samsung has posted a temporary fix on Twitter for its users, but other smartphone users are also welcome to try it. On its part, Google is already working on rolling out a more permanent fix for the problem. According to a report by The Verge, Google said, "We are aware of an issue with WebView causing some apps on Android to crash for some users. We are currently working to fully validate the scope and a fix is in progress."
