Lingunie Pasta Alfredo
Ingredients:
Box of Linguine
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
5 Tbsp flour
2 1/2 cups whole milk
parmesan cheese
salt
pepper
nut meg
fresh parsley
How-To:
Bring large pot of water to a boil and add salt to flavor. Then add box of linguine and boil for 10 mins.
Cream Cheese Sauce:
In pan melt butter on medium heat. Add four and stir until both butter and flour is mixed together. Whisk room temp milk to butter and flour mixture. Stir until mixture is smooth with no lumps. Allow to simmer for 10 mins so sauce can thicken. Continue to stir so sauce doesn't seize or get lumpy. Add parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg for flavor. Then stir.
Add cooked linguine into cheese sauce. Allow pasta water into the sauce so it can stay creamy. Mix Mix Mix.
Top with more parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for freshness and color.
