Should I Like This (Instrumental Version)

Hello once again and happy Valentine's Day! So this month I've been procrastinating a bit here and there, but I had just the right amount of energy to get everything finished last night. As I am typing this, the instrumental version is also rendering. Anyways, here is this month's track. __________________________ (Song): It first started off as an instrumental with no lyrical context, and I was partially stumped on what the whole song would be about. However there were two things I wanted to select. The first would've been a song centered around pretty much dirty talk, the other one being solely on murder. I made a poll deciding on which topic the song should have. In the end, the polls split even, and I decided I would just mix the two topics together! The song tells of a troubled sex addict continuing to chase their high in every moment they have. They keep telling themselves that they need to get a grip and control their impulses, in which they feel obligated to ignore. While they were already treading into the first upper layer of kinky territory, their tolerance rises beyond normal. This concludes in which they resort to more violent measures, becoming a partially self-aware killer, as demonstrated in the second verse. At the bridge, it doesn't even stop at killing others to where they want to be caught, possibly even get themselves killed in the process. In the end, they have no way of redemption, continuing down their crazed and dark path of sex and murder. This one I had a bit of trouble writing lyrics for, but I made it work since dark compositions are my favorite. Not to mention over the years, I've been able to do this far easier than I initially did say a couple years ago. All a matter of trial and error. __________________________ (Visuals): As you may have noticed as of late, I've been exploring more into doing more humanoid figures since that's something I've struggled with doing since the beginning, still do. I took drawing classes, but they didn't touch on drawing actual people, only scenes and simplistic objects. In this case, I drew the current design of SI posed on the floor. The original design was actually planned to have a blindfold/gag on the character, but I felt that would've been a bit too much since the lyrics were already enough. haha __________________________ (Next track): There are two tracks I have currently in nomination for next month. One is centered around ukulele, the other being more on the electronic trance side of things. I am going to decide which one comes that month.
